Our trip to Vegas was nothing if not eventful! We had flown out to witness my brother and sister-in-law renew their vows on their 10 year anniversary, and be there for our niece’s one-year birthday party. The ceremony was gorgeous and it was fun to be a part of their “wedding” and it was great to see little Kaylen growing up! Unfortunately for my brother and sister-in-law especially, the weekend was full of drama and chaos. The highlight I think was that the best man, Anthony, and I were in a car accident on the way to the ceremony that ruined my dress and trapped all our stuff in the trunk. Stressful! Also, their photographer had a miscarriage the morning of so someone else had to fill in. Before the ceremony even started however, his camera ran out of memory and the rest was shot on a normal digital camera. Anyway, there were so many things that went wrong all weekend but the events turned out beautiful in the end. I was so glad to be there and be part of their special weekend; they had eloped 10 years ago so it was fun to watch them "do it right." And my niece is still the cutest thing that ever there was!!
Anyway, the weather was actually a nice break from this very cool summer and it was nice to be away from work. All in all, glad we went but wish it would have been a little lighter on the stress-load! :)
