After signing our P&S weeks ago, the builder finally started working and now it's chugging right along. The old house is gone, the lot cleared, the foundation and footings in, and I believe they plan to start framing soon.
That means after several weeks of not having to do anything for the house, we now need to get our butts in gear and start picking everything out. First on the list is vinyl siding and shutters, then we start with cabinets and appliances. Should be fun, but I'll admit it was nice to have a bit of a break from the whole house thing after having several months full of house-hunting, mortgage hunting, construction meetings.
Fingers crossed they finish in 60 days or the tax credit gets renewed! :)
